Here in Dublin, Gay Pride gets ten full days filled with many events. This years theme is Pride and Prejudice which celebrates the triumphs but also addresses the trials and tribulations that LGBT people face living in Ireland.

How is the theme executed? Are there discussion panels, costume parties, or what? Over the course of ten days, there must be a lot of opportunities to develop the theme every year.

Lol, I don't do any of the planning. But there is a lot planned and thousands of people attend the parties, events, and parades.

Here in Brasil we have a Prede's week!
There's a lot of events like exibition of movies, discussion panels. Some important buildings of the city are decorated with GLS themes etc.
But the great event is the Pride's Parade, which cross de most important avenue of the city, with music, costumes, Drag queens, and hundred of people.

But unfortunately, Floripa's Pride isn't so big as the Prides all around Europe.

I'm looking forward to going to our pride here in September 6th.
