The Homecoming

I'll never get tired of traveling and seeing new places and meeting new people, but its good to be home. When we got to port and I finished doing the things I needed to do to end the trip, I got cleaned up, changed clothes, brushed my teeth and got a ride home. I was actually a bit nervous, or anxious I should say to see Gareth and my cats. I felt like I had been gone for months. When I got home and opened the door, I laid my bags on the floor as our cats came running to greet me. They were meowing excitedly and purring as I picked them up and we gave each other kisses. We have a bamboo candle and it was lit and the house smelled so good.

Gareth was sitting on the couch in a black dress shirt and his red and black checkered boxers reading a book by a table light. He looked so good to me as he laid his head on the back of the couch and smiled. I walked over to him holding our two cats. The cats jumped on the back of the couch. As I leaned over to kiss Gareth upside down I whispered "lets do this spiderman style". We both started to laugh at the corniness as we began to kiss. The kiss kind of worked, but Gareth started to get up and while still kissing me, climbed over the back of the couch and we fell on the floor in a big embrace.

I unbuttoned his shirt and he pulled off my t-shirt as we laid there kissing for the longest time. He suddenly stopped kissing me and pointed to the cats who were now sitting above our heads just watching us. "I can't do this with them looking at us" Gareth said. I started laughing and he squealed "I'm serious". That made me laugh even more.

So he got up, turned the lights out and then laid back down next to me. As he started to kiss my stomach I told him, "You know cats can see in the dark." He got up again, grabbed a pillow off the couch and threw it at them until they ran off and he said, "We need to get a dog."

"Wait til we have children!" I replied. "Ah, feck me" he groaned as he laid his head on my chest. I love this man of mine.

Welcome Back!! Sounds like you had a great homecoming. I love that he can't do anything with the cats watching. That is so funny.

Second David, thanks. It was a nice homecoming and feels good to be home.

Josh, yes hairy is the best. I love Gareths hairy chest. I wish I had a hairy chest, but then again maybe I wouldn't like the hairy chest if I had one. You know grass is always greener on the other side. lol

Frank, I never change the times on this blog clock, that clock sets automatically from the site.
