I have decided to start a blog at the request of my friends. I am an American of Irish heritage and I have decided to live a year or two in my ancestors homeland of Ireland. My friends back in the States complain that I do not keep in touch enough. When I do, I feel like I am repeating the same story over and over to each friend. So I have decided to start a blog at their request so they can read about the things I am doing and the places I am visiting. I first came to Ireland to help my cousin recover as he went through an operation. While my cousin is now healthy again and living his own life in England, I have decided to put my life in the States on hold and stay here and experience this land and its people. So as I think of things to write, I will find some time and update this.

I miss you. I am glad I am going to be able to read this and hear about what you are up to over there. Come back to the States soon, all your friends miss you and your smile.
Dude, have fun, be safe. Drink lots of Guiness or whatever it is they drink over there.
