Today three of my co-workers were let go, two of which were good friends. Ron, a gay, black man who was the only one at work I could really talk to about anything. He took the news really bad and I feel sick to my stomach for him since he was led out the back door so as not to upset anyone! The world can be cruel sometimes. Of course it could be a blessing in disguise to each and bigger and better things hopefully await them, but I'll miss seeing them each day.
