Sweet!! Loved it to bits! So damn true, even though it's not such a far away reality. At least in Portugal it might be sooner than what I expect - it'll be taken to the parliament in the 8th of January for the final decision - keeping me fingers crossed! Let's see if I get married in 2010 =D Hope the same happens here in Eire asap! Cheers
We are almost in 2010 and we still live in a world where very few gays and lesbians are able to enjoy the same straight people's rights. Of couse gays and lesbians can live together as if they were married but the law doesn't recognize it.
But the most important thing is having a happy life with the one you love.
I would like to wish you and Gareth a Happy New Year and also invite you to visit my blog: http://verythinkable.blogspot.com
Loved it! Here in the States gays and lesbians have become, along with their desire for the same civil liberties and rights that straight couples enjoy, the punching bag for the Republican party and others on the Far Right. Messages like this prove that we are no threat to traditional marriage. Rather, it appears to me, our quest for marriage equality affirms traditional marriage.
Stephen I do hope Civil Marraige in Ireland will be the start of full rights for gay people thankfully we are ahead of the USA... On this the last day of the year I wish you and Gareth a very happy new year. make sure you keep posting photos of "our" Gordon D'arcy
i won't hope anymore that such kind of marriage will ever happen in our country..it's very far possible.....the majority is strongly against it.... may i know the title of the background music? really like it...
It took me about 20sec to realize what was going on and tears came to my eyes! What a powerful illustration!

Aerelonian - Thanks. Someday Ireland will catch up to the times, hopefully soon. I thought it would be this year, but alas no.
